Deevana Patong Resort and Spa

The Deevana Patong is arguably one of the best and most reasonably priced resorts in Phuket. It is classed as only 3.5 stars but I would personally give it 4. It is cheaper than other resorts in Phuket because it is located about 10 minutes from the beach.

There is a garden wing and a spa wing. The garden wing has its own pool. This pool does not have a pool bar (in the pool) but has one just next it. Drinks are a little pricey, but this is always the case in resorts. The rooms in the garden wing are comfortable and spacious with individual patios.

The spa wing has a pool with a pool bar. The is a choice of rooms but the best are the gound floor ones which have their own little jacuzzi juust outside the door.

The Deevana is an excellent choice for anyone travelling to Phuket on a budget but still want a great resort.

Banthai Resort and Spa Phuket

The Banthai Resort and Spa in Phuket Thailand is a 4.5 star resort located right on Patong Beach. There are a number of room choices but the best are the pool access rooms. There is the 'direct pool access room' where you literally step out of your room and into the pool and the 'pool access rooms' where the pool is about 5 steps away. The 'pool access rooms' offer a little more privacy than the 'direct pool access rooms'.

There are 2 pools, each with its own pool bar. The pool are quite shallow but so refreshing after a day in the hot phuket sun.

Another great thing about this resort are the 2 bars out the front of the resort. They are situated right in front of the beach and there is nothing better than having a drink, watching the sunset and the hustle and bustle of Patong go by.
